A Day at the Salon

Today Emma had her first trip to a real salon for a much needed clean-up hair cut. We went to a place called Cookie Cutters- it was awesome!!! I can't believe I forgot my camera though! They are built specifically for kids- she got to sit in her own pink convertible that spins, goes up & down, etc. AND, she got to watch a movie while the stylist worked. They have a play area for other waiting kids- it was a mom's ideal place. Only advice- make sure you go with a coupon, their prices are a bit steep although the price includes the tip. Amazingly the stylist was done in 12 minutes- it was perfect! Emma looks lots older, and announced to everyone at the store she looks "cute". I think it was harder on me to lose her curls then the whole process was for her! Their website is haircutsarefun.com if you want to see what some of their salons look like.
